what does SNES and ZSNES mean?

What the heak does SNES mean!? I think it means Super Nintendo somthing. What about ZSNES?

SNES stands for "Super Nintendo Entertainment System"
I'm not sure what the Z in ZSNES stands for though. All I know is it's a type of emulator.

With ZSNES - you load the SMC file from inside ZSNES to play it.
