Something is Missing..

I would like to make my own av and -sig, but I am open to suggestions. I have been at the board a 'fair' amount of time for the regulars to get a bit if an idea as to my 'personality' on here, so fire away.. what do you think would be an an appropriate concept for my av and -sig here on the boards?

For those of you who like making these things, I would rather make my own. Please fee lfree to make and submit them if you feel like giving them a go, or just want an excuse to do something Astro related, but please to not be offended if I do not use anything submitted.

I am not waying I will -not- use submissions if they arrive, I am simply saying that when we (Royal we heh) decide on an idea for them I would at least like to attempt making them for myself before admitting that my Ph0+05h0p 5ki115 are indeed n0+ l337 ;)

so what do you suggest people? I totally 5ux0rz when it comes to concept design, so help me out here, ok. :)

It is only a jpg still right now as Photoshop is TEH 3V1L!! and I just could not work oot how to make a 'propper' animated avatar.

I called upon the L337 PICTURE IT! 5K1LLz of my dear mother and she ren this one up for me. YAY FOR MOTHERS WITH l337 5k1llz!! :D

Now its on to a -sig file.. Suggestions fellow Astrophiles??

if you have Photoshop you should have Adobe ImageReady. This program will allow you to make/save/edit animated gifs. Photoshop will not.

I think Animated is really ootq as I can't even wrap my head around photoshop.. so trying to learn another software program Ido not think is going to be somethin I am capable of.

Its just going to be another jpg, at least for now.. BUT I need 'concept' ideas. DrFrags idea for the avatar was fantastic and I used it. Need some for the -sig now. :)

I used to watch that cartoon in the 80s around the time Astroboy was on. It wasn't translated, no one knew the name, and it wasn't ever listed in the TV guide. But it was so cool! B)

It's an italian cartoon called 'La Linea' which used to run in the70's as a filler between TV programms. I just buyed the DVD which was recently released here in europe.
I did a google search for getting me some pics, alas the most websites of it are in german and italian language :( .

I too watched them many times during the 80's and finally I got the DVD. It's just wonderful :wahah: .
On the beginning of every episode this little guy always goes like "mmmmmm - daaaaaa!",
and at the end he usually keep falling down somewhere :lol: .

Cool! I found it on Amazon.de, but I don't know enough of the language to get through the shopping process. :(

My favourites bits were scenes with water, and I think one time the ground turned into a dynamite fuse?
And of course there was his classic spit-spraying laugh! :lol:

You don't necessarily have to buy the DVD though. I'm sure there a lot of 'La Linea' episodes around on Kaaza and eMule. I'll see if I'm able to download some of 'em.
