Our hero Astroboy, with the cool spikes on his head. :)

Atlas, with his remodelled body.

Atlas's Horse, great for smashing up police cars and baseball stadiums.
http://afk.sagamers.com/astroboy/brondo01.jpg
Brondo, the greatest robot wrestler in the east. He can turn into a huge spinning disc.
http://afk.sagamers.com/astroboy/bruton01.jpg
Bruton. A million horsepower and devastating electric horns.
http://afk.sagamers.com/astroboy/buck01.jpg
Buck, the transformation robot. Able to turn into a lion, dog, eagle, horse, dolphin and more.
http://afk.sagamers.com/astroboy/kitty01.jpg
Kitty, the black panther that can split in two.
http://afk.sagamers.com/astroboy/lightray01b.jpg
Lightray, the invisible robot. Made from pH glass, he can only be seen under polarised light.
http://afk.sagamers.com/astroboy/true01.jpg
True, the liar robot. His helicopter head can cut trees down. :D

Zeus, the hitman robot who Uran fell in love with.
So ... who's the coolest, and why?

I vote on Atlas because from what I've seen in the 80's series, even though he can be a jerk most of the time, he has his sweet moments. I guess I'm a little more sympathetic towards the 2004 Atlas.

I'll go for Lightray :) . To me, he's the coolest robot (besides Astro of course).
I too would like to be invisible for one day, but if possible without spraypaint on my legs :P .

I narrowed it down to Brondo and Kitty. Brondo was awesome, and Kitty could split in two which always impressed me when I saw the Uran's Twin episode.
I have to go with Kitty. I put a clip of it splitting in the Astroboy music video I made.

 :(  I cant choose !!!!I luv Atlas & his horse, True & Lightray. And Zues, well all I can say is that Uran had good taste when it came to robots ;) B) Give us an easier question like, oh well I dunno, who is more evil, Tenma or Skunk? ;) or who is cooler, me or you :wahah: :wahah: No need to anwer the last one. I already know the answer ;) B) B) :wahah: :wahah:

If by coolest, you mean impressive, fearsome, etc, I would vote for Atlas. Atom and True are cute, but (or, and therefore) have far from awe-inspiring appearances. Light Ray seems girlish.

I do not remember 'seeing' any invisible robot in the manga, but there was an invisible creature. ;)

Let us have a moment of silence for our dearly-departed members. I had not thought of either one until Llama resurrected this thread.:(

huh? what do you mean i resurrected this thread? is that good or bad? :eek:You should read the rules (http://www.astroboy-online.com/forums/faq.php?faq=abo_faq_title#faq_abo_faq_item):
No resurrecting old threads unless you have something meaningful to add. If a thread has been inactive for a month or longer, please do not add a post unless you have something important or meaningful to add. Consider starting a new thread instead.
It's normal for a new member to be interested in some old threads and to bump up a few of them because he or she has something to say on the topic.
However, bumping up many old threads is not a good thing, and bumping up around 50 threads or so makes the forum hard to follow for everybody. Who wants to open 50 threads to read just a line or two that don't add any meaningful information, when the rest of the thread is two or three years old?
Please stop bumping up so many old threads. :hyo:

aha. maybe there should be something like when a member logs in, he/she should be able to tell the difference between old threads and new threads. like for example: the old ones and the ones not read in over a month should be marked so they are just left alone. so that way there are not too many old threads. know what i mean?

It's written before you open the topic, and then there's a date at the top of every single post.
