I'm excited too! I'm planning to get some volumes of the original manga with some of my upcoming birthday money, so I'll be able to what his role in that was like!

Okay, so I've been checking out Astro Boy's TVTropes pages, and lots of it seems woefully underdone. The Crowning Moments of Heartwarming, Funny, and Awesome pages, for example, mainly focus on the 2009 movie, making no mention of the manga or any of the anime series. And there is no tearjerker page...

@ androids101: Not as impressive as it sounds. I write a lot of "flash fiction" so many of them are under 500 words or so.
