WHAT IS WRITTEN HERE?

Here is something rarely seen:

I suspect that the 1980s :astro:

series' BIRTH OF URAN may have been influenced by this episode. These 'newborn' robots both show tendencies to find mischief.

Melchi seems content to go with this woman, & she claim he is her child.

Mars' attempt to recover Melchi is futile, as the crowd favors the human over the robot.

Though this man resembles Butamo Makeru, I am not so sure, as I believe I have seen him before.
Edit: his name is Brumble; I think he appeared in Amom manga.

Melchi is so cute! I agree that this episode seems similar to Uran's birth in the '80s cartoon.

I think the 2nd sign says "future bank".

Melchi has the same "scarf" as Mars. Can he also fly?

Not as far as anyone knows, anyway. Remember, the series didn't last long; it could've been something he acquired, or learned to do, at a later point in time. It's a shame that this series didn't get much of a chance. I've only ever seen a few poorly done fansubs (this episode was one of them). Although I think someone on here might've commissioned them.

After running though this thread again, and having seen some more of Jeffbert's threads on the "missing 89" It's now more obvious that Melchi is another version of Chi-tan. (I wonder If Melchi cried at 130db of volume?)
Mar's older sister is the Uran equal.
