Pick an Astro "superman" moment ....

Postby Tetsuwan Penguin » 10 years ago

OK, here's a group question. What is your favorite '"superman" moment for Astro (from ANY of the animes, movie, or manga). By that I mean when he performs an act of brute strength that requires every single pony of his 100,000 horse power.

My favorite moment is from the "Wacky Machine" where he rips a skyscraper in half and lifts part of it up and out of the way. Tezuka shows he's straining by the grimace on his face and a shot of his power meters going nuts.

What's your favorite moment? Post pix's if you want

Looks heavy beside being blurry :p
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

Astro takes a page from Superman's book in the 80's episode "Dash in a Storm!" / "Speeding Through The Storm", when he lifts part of the broken rail tracks to get the train across.
