Yeah, I think in terms of what makes us guys attracted to, Epsilon is for the 2003 series same what Livian is for the 80's version.
They're both hot & cute at the same time. *testosteron-attack*
A little downside however is that Epsilon is lacking a wind-up key.
Let's unite them to the "ROBOT SPICE GIRLS":
Posh Epsilon, Livian C, and.. er... Uran 235.

Oh, that could make for a very interesting montage!
To go back on topic, I guess Astro or Tintin are pretty generic in that even a girl can identify with them, but still, why did we have to wait until the 2003 series to see a female character fighting alongside Astro? Or even against him? I was going to say that this was one area where Tezuka wasn't ahead of his time, but now I'm remembering Princess Saphire so that's not quite right.
