Astro Boy Model Sheet/Turn around

Postby Spiffy Knight » 16 years ago

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone Had, or would be willing to make some Astro Boy Model sheets that I could use.

If you're not sure what it is, google image it, and you should get the general idea.

All I'd need is a good front and side view, perferably lined up and perportioned and all that good stuff :P

I just graduated college with a 3d graphics diploma, so I figured I could make a short astro boy animation.. However I'm not that great at drawing, so I wouldn't want to make the model sheets myself, as they'd turn out horribly fat or distorted ahah.

So I hope someone has at least access to some model sheets.. if I got my "how to draw astro" book out.. I have no idea where it is though, just moved :/

Anyways, thanks in advance! I hope you look forward to my piece when its done! :P

Hmmmmmmm... There is a characters gallery at the end of the 1980 series, in the extras. I had never heard the term "model sheets" before but I believe that this is what you are looking for.

I'll post pictures a bit later.

I'm basically looking for something like this:

But perferably a bit larger in size so I can see the detail better.. I know they exist.. I mean they have to. I just don't have access to them unfortunatly.

Yes. I believe both Madman and Manga Entertainment's sets have them.

That’s interesting; i have a very similar drawing style.

I just use straight guide lines.

That was a bit off-topic

Edit: I do look very forward to your work SK.
