Atoman had showed me this episode long before I bought my own boxed sets, and a few of these images are double exposure, as they are from images captured while viewing for the 1st time. Given time, I will make new captures and replace the double exposed images.

Now, Atom begins to recall the past events:

Some of you should recognize this creature as the Space Bug, featured in a very simplified version of this story reprinted in vol #23 of the manga.
Though it should be apparent, this creature emanates waves that soothe humans; the man grabbed it, & hoped to cash-in on it.back to the present, the threat emerges:
Atom, assuming the Space Bug in endangered by the approaching behemoth, takes it it & tries to flee.
"Oh, no! It's got me!"

Ok, here is the part for which I expected some members would be eagerly waiting:
The Mantler gives him about 5 good swats, before finishing.
After this, the Mantler makes him do an Indian war dance, and a few other things, as though he were just a marionette.

Hate to see episode where ASTRO BOY seems helpless- even if it is only for a shortwhile
