I think this is modeled on the samurai films, as I have seen this before. After killing the enemy, the victor stands still, while the enemy dies & falls over. He does not need to reassure himself that he has killed him, he is already certain.






As Atom tries to drag Miranda through the rapidly closing portal, she shove him through it. Neither Atom nor Ochanomizu can understand her reason for remaining behind.




Kondana, having been occupied with gathering gold, too late realizes the portal was closing. What does he expect Miranda can do for him?
