My next favorite album of the day. I don't know if this one counts or not because my last album post was exactly on 12:00PM.
In the Court of the Crimson KingThis is now in my music collection just because of Epitaph.

Couldn't find a larger image for this on line.

I'm among the fans who rate this as Metallica's best album. Fade to Black is one of my favorite songs of all time. Coincidentally, it is one of their easiest songs to play on guitar (and they have very few that are).

^^ I've planned to post that as well, it's a killer album indeed! "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and "Creeping Death" are among my favourite Metallica songs. \m/ :d evil: \m/
Def Leppard - Hysteria
The best pop-metal album ever recorded. Period.

Work of Art - In Progress
A modern day, current AOR band. I recommend listening to "The Rain" and "Never Love Again" from this album.

I so rarely buy entire albums that I won't be a regular contributor here.
I find the following interesting. It's instrumental music; while the pace ist often fast, I would say the music sounds peaceful to me, so I was a bit surprised when I first saw the cover. It might have more to do with the name of the group.

^^ A very cool cover! I took a short listen into the album, and it really sounded great! No need to go see movies when you can make your own by listening to those huge orchestrations.
Dire Straits - Love Over Gold
Still after all these years I get goose bumps when I listen to Mark Knopfler's stellar guitar solo during the rocking part of 'Telegraph Road'.

Dire Straits is a great band! I really love their early work but I'm going to have to find a copy of this one.
PS. Local public library has this CD in the system. I put it on hold.

One of the greatest albums of all time! Fun fact: Jim Morrison was not happy about being the focus of the cover, which is why on their other albums he's no more prominent than the other members.
