The argument can also be made that they're DRAWINGS, a set of lines, curves and color. If their shapes appeal to someone in that way, let them.

I wouldn't like pictures with Uran either (being gay and all) but everyone's tastes need to be respected. I'll agree that really bad art from people who can barely draw is atrocious (or sometimes hilarious) though.

You can see if you can add Rule 34 to your computer's parental block, but otherwise, there's nothing you can do about the site. Most websites, especially imageboards like that, aren't going to cave to pressure of taking stuff down unless it's something grotesque enough to call for the FBI or Interpol. Rule 34 is user-run; there's very few moderators on duty. I've even found stuff for the comic strip For Better Or For Worse on there by accident, when I went to see if they had anything of my webcomic (they didn't) but the banner ads were gross alone (Y'ALL PUT SOME PANTS ON).

Good point. I tried using safesearch but it wund up blocking some completley harmless pics like this:
