Mimi had a second appearance in the Astro boy 2003 manga by Akira Himekawa. She appeared in the final chapter "Fly to the future!" But she was only in one frame. Of course, she was in the first volume of the manga, but that was based on the anime.

There was a site where you can download the manga for free, but I forgot where. :/ (Go figure) I know it was mentioned on this forum a long time ago before. Since Volume.1 is no where to be found, I suggest you buy it, or try to find a site where you can download it at.
