I love the 3 3/4" figure series! I've bought the "Iconic Astro" and the "Trashcan and Droid" sets (planning on getting the Metro City soldier next), and the figures have really good articulation and an accurate design. The only problems were that Trashcan's mouth was lightly glued shut, and Iconic Astro's jetfeet are hard to take out.

I haven't bought any yet but I think the toys look really cool! Way better than the toys Bandai made in 2004
BTW, has anyone seen the plushes in the stores yet? I haven't.

Advertises for the 2003 series in the US was bad enough. But when they went back and forth between 2 networks twice is what killed the series. And then they never showed more than a couple of episodes. The networks killed the 2003 series.

I think the idea of the astroboy with the removable panels is a great idea. I remember as a kid having a dinosaurs movie characters. You could remove thier casings and inside was a glow in the dark skeleton, as kid that was the coolest thing ever.

Found these images on the jazwares site.

...Drakeshe, you didn't need to post all of those. The page is vastly stretched... :d oh:

However, I'm going to have to show this to my younger sister, whom is a Trashcan fan.

And to top it off, the show was already canceled by the time the toys were on the shelves! Not that they were great toys to begin with :shifty:
