Remaking Of Astro Boy

WingedMushroomOfDoom uploaded a Behind The Scenes footage of the 2003 'Astro Boy'. This video also shows the conflicting interest of both the Japanese crew and the American crew.
It even has a "How to Draw Astro Boy" included.

Thanks, Yuusha Senshi Godaiger. I wonder if this was an extra on the English version DVD set? I was so disappointed with it, that I never bothered with the extras.

Thanks for sharing! I'm really glad astro boy remade in 2003. It really did appeal to today's audience and even by itself, it's really well made! It's probably the reason why I love astro boy so much today!

You have to wonder though, as much as I like what I've seen this far of Astro 2003, if Mark (the American, and I'm sure he meant well, but still) didn't get involved, what would they have ended up with??? I bet it would have been even more awesome.

I saw that. Cool little featurette but I can't help but wonder if the American they got understood the character. He asks if they can focus on the super hero side more than the child side. REALLY?
