Official Astro Boy streams. Do not support piracy!

A lot of content is uploaded to YouTube without authorization. Other than being against the rules to say where one can steal a show, I believe it should also be encouraged to teach people that there are official streams out there that do help Tezuka Productions, even if you have no money in your pockets. It works even better if you disable your adblocker when watching them.

Watch away!

All other uploads of episodes on YouTube are illegal, and the proper action would be to report them to YouTube directly when possible.

Once again, Australia misses out... :shifty:

And don't worry about me getting pirated streams, 'cause they are nonexistent here (YouTube ones are 'not available in my country').

The ones not available in your country are the LEGAL ones, unfortunately. The Viki.com streams probably work though.

Here are some more interesting streams/downloads:

Black Jack and Black Jack 21 (both available to almost everywhere, new episodes are subbed every week)

$1 rentals (one week, requires credit card, but this is the only legal way to get these movies):

Oh, thank you. I've been wondering how I would be able to see the full first two episodes of the 1980's anime for a few days now.

On a similar note, CURSE YOU HAMEGG! We could have had a happy Tenma/Astro reunion if it hadn't been for you!

But wasn't it Tenma who sold him to HamEgg? (he didn't even want Astro)

Not in this version. In this version, though Tenma does tell him to get lost, he has the decency to go looking for Astro, calling out to him. And Astro calls back, but he's locked up in a suitcase by Hamegg, so Tenma can't hear him...

The Viki streams are pretty much guaranteed to be available to every country that doesn't have a boxset of that series in print. They might even be available to countries that do have boxsets. I don't think they're available to Japan though.
