I'm gonna buy these, but only because I don't own any of the old ones. If you have the previous release, it's not really worth it to buy the omnibus versions.

I got volumes 5,6, and 7 in the mail today from Amazon. Having volume 1, plus the older Dark Horse volumes 4-13, I now have the contents of the entire collection (with some duplication). There's nothing really new about the Omnibus collection, if you already had the entire Dark Horse set of volumes 1-21, you don't need to consider the Omnibus. However, since the older collection is now out of print (but most volumes can be found on ebay), new collectors should consider it. Actually, in this format the cost of the entire collection is probably a bit less than buying the older format was. The only disadvantage, would be in not getting some of the cover artwork from the older volumes.
