I know this thread is for tutorials, but I kinda would like to request an animated gif and can't really ask in the AB boards.

Basically, on TezukaOsamu.net, there's this flash video that shows a really clever parody of 20th Century Fox, which is called "20BC Fox" from the Buddha manga. The video basically shows the panel of this, which then panels upward.

http://tezukaosamu.net/jp/manga/434.html Click start and you'll get to see this.

I basically would just like an animation of this if possible. Thanks.

Just curious -- is there a tutorial, or going to be a tutorial, about how to install and use .8bf PhotoShop plugins with GIMP? Or script-fus? Or liquid rescale, or splitting RGB with CMYK? (I can make the tutorials here if anyone's interested) These things help Photoshop users navigate with GIMP easier. Also, anyone heard of MyPaint? It's a free painting program that is, frankly, splendid. Just as good as OpenCanvas or Paint Tool SAI though only for painting...

Extra note -- GIMP's next release, 2.7, has a single-interface mode that will make it looks VERY similar to Photoshop. Here's a screen shot of it: http://www.tuxmachines.org/images/large-gimp-2.7-single-window.jpg

Personally I don't plan to write any other tutorial in the near future, and certainly not on what you mentioned as I know almost nothing on that. I have no objection that you write some. It could be added at the end of my first post so people wouldn't miss your addition ;)

I want to send photos to this website but I do not know how to do it. Is there any way to upload photos to this website?

Yes you can, you can follow the instructions here.

This is off-topic however, so I will move your post to another topic shortly. :)

Thanks Fafner for the Tutorial on the Gimp.
I was able to use avidemux (video editor) to grab frames from a video and then paste them together with Gimp to make an animated GIF.
Avidemux allows you to single frame step though a video to grab each new frame. Since the '63 Astroboy series used limited animation only every 5th frame or so is really different. (Though some frames in sequence seem the same except for dirt on the negative that is missing on the next one! Like they could have fixed that during the digital transfers!)
