LEGO for child amputees

Postby jeffbert » 9 years ago

While it is sad that kids lose limbs, or are born without all of them, the article complete with video should lead to an easing of the pain: http://www.gizmag.com/iko-prosthetic-lego-arm/38434/?utm_source=Gizmag+Subscribers&utm_campaign=c63aa5a5d9-UA-2235360-4&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_65b67362bd-c63aa5a5d9-76704577

That's pretty neat! Just imagine all the Lego figures you could build to put on that prosthetic arm.

Thanks for sharing, Jeffbert. :)

But-- I can seen many boys asking for prosthetic arms, even when they are 100% intact. Mom refuses, but the kid continues begging. Perhaps even attempts to chop off an arm. :(
