Without checking the DVD booklet, I think that this episode was more accurate to the manga. As I recall, the booklet usually says why a story was redone.

I am right now translating the DVD booklet's text about this episode. One paragraph to go.

Article about the production of this episode says that Tez gave his staff the week off, & used Studio Zero to make this; yet, Tez was very dissatisfied with result, & had the ep destroyed after shipping a copy to Fred Ladd.

Ahhh! How many threads were deleted just because the pics were gone? I have all the pics, & had restored them after losing my original host, years ago. I could easily do so, again, if the threads existed.
