I agree that cotton is probably your best bet with the hair. I'm pretty sure they make bald caps for almost any skin color, but if you can't find one in a store, you might have more luck shopping online.

I just received my copies today; I already finished vol 1, & from what I recall, it was essentailly based upon the 2003 anime, but the stories were both simplified and also a bit mixed with one another. By that, I mean that some of the stories seemed to merge into other stories. I will clarify late...

Aw, you got me excited for nothing. It looks fun too, even if Astro isn't the main character. That's a shame it'll probably never get an English version.
