We Need A Blackjack, Kimba and an icon that represents a failure Strictly speaking do we really need smilies depicting characters that are not directly related to Astroboy? Don't get me wrong. I'd think other Tezuka character smilies would be adorable. Especially Princess Knight.  But ...

One funny thing is when Mulan first came out somebody talking about it actually brought up this whole Kimba/Simba business in something I read somewhere about Disney once again paying "homage" to Tezuka comparing Mulan to Princess Knight. Although apart from the obvious common theme involving a fema...

I think if Tezuka had been alive at the time of The Lion King he would have wanted to settle things in a cool, calm and collected manner.

I really can't imagine him making a huge outcry wanting to sue the Disney Company. He was, after all, a huge admirer of Walt Disney.

Yes but some movies could be very scary and potentially dangerous to go into. Oh please promise you'd never bring anything out of a HORROR MOVIE into the real world. :o hmy:

Well Tezuka was such a brilliantly imaginative man.

I once had a dream that I met him a long time ago.

Even though I never knew him I still feel his loss very strongly. Astroboy, Princess Knight and Kimba are the three greatest gifts I thank him for giving us.

RIP Tezuka.

I recently saw the 3D movie. While I enjoyed the story I was a bit disappointed with the 3D effects. I kept eagerly watching out for things to appear to fly out of the screen in my direction but while sometimes that happened there wasn't very much of that. When 3D first came out that was the whole e...

Update. I have a picture of Sesame Street's Ernie and later on I intend to add Bert to the very same sketch. I'm starting small. I only did the top half of Kermit because I wasn't confident to try drawing the full figure and I've only drawn Ernie's face. I hope to just do Bert's face also. As I gain...
