As to what I think about the US itself Astronomical Girl, I really don't know as I seldom catch any world news.

And Andriods I agree we're a lucky country.....and we should have more sci-fi.

I've never been anywhere outside of Australia, but I'd love to visit other places. I actually think I'm going to go live in the US one day. I've made a thread about how my lady friend is coming to meet me from Texas in 2012 and we hope to marry. :D But I will still think of Australia as my home coun...

That is such a pity, though perhaps part of the reason may be that as a small country we don't have as much money to spend on the special effects required.

Still you'd think it would be easy enough to do a sci-fi film in animation, wouldn't you? I don't imagine it would be as expensive.

Anime is remarkable. The Japanese really know how to present good animated stories. But Tezuka was the best of them all.

Sometimes the humour just goes over the heads of kids. Adults can understand it better. Depends on what kind of jokes they use and the ages of each kid.
