Referring to both of the official anime-series from 1980 and 2003, Astro's eyes are brown indeed. Yes, that most definitely is "Tezuka sama" as one of the captives. How he got there I will never know, but it is him. (I don't think Tamao is there,though it does kind a looks like him,)
