[QUOTE=Laughing Dragon;96523][QUOTE=Saint Atom;96514]I know you guys will disagree, but I think they got what they deserved after destroying Astro Boy in that God-awful film If it weren't for that "god-awful" film, I wouldn't have sought out this message board or consider myself a new Astro Boy fan...

A littleacorn, it loops constantly. Generally the ones included with Dreamscenes (or Deskscapes for that matter) are things like a flickering flame or the ocean going in or out or even a rollercoaster that ends at the starting point that are made to loop fairly seemlessly (ie it looks continuous).

Sgupta mentioned a program called Dreamscenes for Vista that can take a video and turn it into a background...maybe it's the same thing? A plain blue ...

I live in a small town - we don't even have a Blockbuster (we had an FYE - not sure if it's still there...), so online's generally the way to go. Mine shipped today in fact. =) Prolly still be a few days til I get it, but we'll see - Amazon's usually pretty snappy. Good luck - hopefully it'll be in ...

And I believe 7 or XP can use a commercial product called DeskScapes to essentially do the same thing. The issue would be capturing that part of the website and converting...

Oh, I'm not sure a character like Astro Boy ever truly dies - hopefully eventually something will come of him in America again. But I'm not getting my hopes up for anytime soon unfortunately. =o/ Heck, I'd be *thrilled* if they simply subtitled and released the rest of what's out there! - The 2003 s...

Second recommendation on the Game Boy Advance game Astro Boy: Omega Factor (which will also work on a DS Lite [but NOT DSi]). It's truly a remarkable game with fantastic gameplay, a truly epic story, and just...one of the best games I've ever played. It's just polished and you can tell a labor of lo...
