Re: Astro Boy Reprints
I used a buying service (forgot what it is called) to get UNIT #1 of the very limited edition (500 maybe 1000 copies) reprints of the original versions of the Japanese language comics. This middleman bought the thing from Amazon.co.jp, & forwarded it to me. It worked well, but was expensive. Let...

Re: Rankin-Bass ON tcm: 05/22
So, I recorded all 3, watched MMP? last night. went to the wiki page, and found a link to Mad Mad Mad Monsters, which, according to that page, was made by Mushi.

Re: Rankin-Bass ON tcm: 05/22
I saw it a few years ago, via NF DVD. Unfortunately, it was not as 'good' as I remembered it; but, I guess nothing is. I did enjoy it, though.

Re: The 2009 Astro Boy movie is 10 years old
I thought that Bullwinkle should have been a serial, with the traditional cliffhangers and Prof. Peabody etc. in between. BTW, I think some of the same talent that made Bullwinkle cartoons also made SUPERCHICKEN & GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE.

Re: thinking of a solid-state drive for W10 upgrade
Try downloading the latest W10 install ISO file and copy it to a USB flash drive. Set your laptop to boot from the USB stick (usually hit F12 several times while it's powering up, then select the boot device when it offers a menu, USB stick must be plugged in first!) When windows asks for your ID n...

Re: COVID-19
My poor starving SPAM folder! There were just 3 or 4 items in it, I hate to think anything good came out of the CV-19 thing, but that is undeniable. The normal email content tech blogs, stuff from Crunchyroll, HULU, & NETFLIX, have not diminished, though.

Re: COVID-19
Being 1 armed, I use suction cup brushes with stiff nylon bristles. I wash my face with DAWN dish soap, really cuts grease. My face thinks I am 15! Well, some parts, anyway. Others are much too dry.
