I am reminded of a part in Tezuka's Buddha manga, when Devadatta as a child dressed as a girl and seduced a boy in order to steal something from him. It was pretty hilarious.

Tezuka played with gender in most of his stories, and Astro Boy is no exception. He's a bit similar to Princess Knight in that he's got both boy and girl attributes.

It's a bit unfair to compare free streaming or TV to downloading. Companies do the former two because they get a profit from it, with the ads. They wouldn't do it if it didn't help them.
