I find any redubs to change the original language of a film to be offensive... but this one is the worst insult of all I've seen. Especially considering how hard it has been to find subtitled (as crappy as they may be) versions.

You barely even see it's Astro. People outside of Asia would think it's a baby design, complete with diaper and pacifier.

Ohya's art is good, though.

There are lots of things to love about Jetter Mars. The bright cheerful colors are a joy to look at, characters have great designs (I love Kenichi), they're younger than usual so Jetter Mars will often do the cutest babyish things that even Astro doesn't do, the animation is better than the 80's Ast...

This is just SO annoying. All I'm trying to do is to make an animated GIF of Astro lighting the torch, but all four online GIF animators have crapped up meaning I can't. And GIMP is unusable because it doesn't allow me to resize images, which is simply stupid, and then Microsoft Paint doesn't allow...

Like I said I got a pretty bad impression from that video. It has many signs of a bad platformer, such as falling too fast off edges and not being able to move while doing so, and crappy jumps.
