The reason why its this expensive is because of the company who did the graphics: BlueRay. I can't really explain why they charge so much money on Sony to help make the graphics look twice as better than the previous consoles...By the looks of it, they want everyone to know that they're a big part ...

It's gets deeper than that. People from Europe pre paid for their PS3s in full cash. They can demand their money back and if Sony does not give it back LAWSUITES all around

I'm sorry I can't find that funny, I respect SONY and especially the playstation name. I respect Nintendo with their handhelds, but Microsoft I don't like anything but Windows for them the XBOX is just a kind of bad PC that can't do as much. BUt thanks for trying kind of funny just not really

If you are still a student, I would strongly advise a laptop, as it would allow you to play AND work wherever you go ;) However, I'm afraid you won't find cheap laptops which can play the latest games...
