How about a plug for "BESM" (Big Eyes, Small Mouth) Anime role playing game for winter 2005? I've been playing it out here in the Gulf and the ease of play is excellent. I'm working on an Astro theme'd one shot adventure for next month.

(clapping) Astounding Adrian, you are so good and anyone can tell when you collaberate with others on projects like this it amplifies your tallents greatly. Your Dojins would be well recieved among the pre-teen crowd in Japan that's for sure.

Even though I dislike Disney, if Kimba was an inspiration for the Lion King it's a big compliment that would have pleased Tezuka greatly even if he never got anything from it. But you know what's real sweet? Disney's only Oscar award was complimentary not official (Snow White) and the on...

I dunno....maybe it would be cool to turn Astro from cute and snuggles into mean and downright nasty for one episode through some accident. He gets to be such a pain that even Skunk vollunteers to go and catch him... "Why that little plastic toaster....He's taking all my business! That does ...

Ken Stacy's artwork was very good for this series too, he also did some work in the 80's with the Johny Quest classic comics as well. The last comic which had Astro chasing some robot assassins through a skyscrapper where Doctor Elephant was justifying the huge cost used to build Astro came ...

Well you could use catch phrases like... "You better call Macco when I get done with you." "I'm done talking, now I'm pounding." "Time for you to learn how to fly!" I think Bill Lou's character in the 60's had the best catch lines of the three english translations, at least the m...

No love for Disney, new or old. They still live and exhibit a plastic and fake view of the real world, their amusement parks are money-sucking garbage. Did you know Tezuka refered to them when he was asked to ok an idea for a Tezuka Amusement Park? He rejected it. Nice but what can it teach? Nothing...

To them, Astro isn't just a cartoon character, he's in their hearts. It takes me back to Feb 9, 1989 and how emotional the Japanese were at losing Tezuka. Of course Hirohito had died weeks before and you didn't see so much emotional feeling for him, World War II and his age aside. Tezuk...
