You've got a point there Thylacine 2000. Foxkids seems to show a lot more grit than KidsWB. Take Sonic the Hedgehog. I've seen a lot of violence on that show which reminded me of the 60's and 80's Astro, where he didn't pull any punches. Some networks hated that kind of violence ...

Hi Thylacine 2000, :( You've just confirmed my biggest fear about the last episode. I thought the American dub would whimp out, compared to the original Japanese version. <_< I'm going to have evan more trouble watching it now. Looks like they messed it up all the way to the end. Here's ...

Can you imagine if Tezuka Productions tried to open one of their museums in the States?
Disney would use all kinds of legal tricks to block it. <_< If they did open a museum or just a store here, I would go there evan if it was across the country. ;)

In the Japanese and English versions of that episode, he was seen sitting on the dock of a bay, showing us his bare Niki's girls' legs, then winking at us while putting on his boots and saying "Shh, don't tell anyone, it's are little secret." Then flying of saying "Goodbye". That'...

One thing he did say a lot in Japanese was "Yosh". The o is pronounced long vowel, not short Y-ohh-sh. I think there's an i at the end, but it's silent. It basically means "All right then" or "Bring it on". Princess Knight said this a lot too.

As I said, Jeffbert and I think Eternal Boy might have been axed for legal reasons, because Disney owns the rights to Peter Pan. The whole story was based on Peter Pan and it had a robot Peter Pan in it and of course Peter's name was mentioned throughout the episode. Since they already showed it...

Yes, I agree with you Strange Wings. I think us adults could learn a lot about forgiveness from Astro and other Tezuka anime and manga. Then the world be a better place, look how nice Japan is right now. One reason is a lot of them have taken Tezuka's message to heart. To them, Astro isn't j...
