It's hard to have a brain when you store a fold-out helicopter in your head. :D

People retire, change departments, get replaced. I worked in government and I went through our store room. I found some old backup tapes. I have no idea what was on them because they weren't labelled properly. The format was so old we didn't have the hardware to read them. I didn't even know what ty...

This is really interesting! You did a good job with the vectors. I have a suggestion, which reminds me of a joke: A wealthy matron is so proud of a valuable antique vase that she decides to have her bedroom painted the same color as the vase. Several painters try to match the shade, but none comes c...

I have only the Astro part of that model (someone gave it to me). It looks like he's pulling a rope out of his chest. Now I see the whole thing, I still have no idea what the heck is going on.

That looks naively optimistic to me, as though they're treating AI as really clever software tools rather than arguably sentient life. Replace "AI" with "teenager" and it starts to look like an episode of Dr Phil. There's only so long you can keep sending them to their room; eventually they're gonna...

I don't know where I read that it was called the "Hanna Barbera effect". All my searching is coming up with sound effect sites. But visually it looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/ujhEYCu.jpg This is from a 1980 episode of Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo. You can tell when this guy leaves the room he's g...

I think the '03 series used traditional animation in conjunction with computers. Yeah you're right. I found the making-of video you mentioned, it's on the DVDs. It looks like they used a lot of traditional methods which surprised me cause the background pans are way more stable than the 80s version...

I took Kitty's image, erased the writing, and put millichris's first image behind it. http://i.imgur.com/me8vde7.png No colour matching, but it's not noticable unless you're looking for it. There must be a bigger one somewhere, cause millichris's picture has more stuff on the sides.

At least it doesn't say Iron Arm Atom.

(鉄 = iron, 腕 = arm, 鉄腕 = mighty)
