I generally tend to see "Denkou" online. I believe the "ou" part of Denkou's name is a long o sound in Japanese.

Found a video today that documents the making of the cel animation for the 1963 Astro Boy series from Mushi Productions. It's a great look at how they made the show. You even get to see Mari Shimizu and Hisashi Katsuta voicing Atom and Ochanomizu!
