Uran vanishing from several episodes or mangá chapters?

I was thinking about the final episodes of the 1980 series and I noticed that Uran disappeared completely from the story after episode 49. Don't you fit it awful? Although, her appearence was quite rare in the 2003 series, she was still plot relevant in the final episodes which made her pretty touch...

I just don't see why you're beating a dead horse so much Toshio. Knowing that the dubs suck is the "default." We've all moved on since a long time ago and some of us just chosen to ignore those versions. Why bring it up everywhere all the time? It gets annoying real fast. We just don't need them to...

Whatever you said doesn't deny the fact many people got shy away from the series due the lack of the emotion in the dub. We need a dub which stay true to the original without hidding it's roots. There is a huge clash of quality between the original japanese and the american dub. One is clearly seem ...

how long have you I've been a fan of Astroboy for 28 years now... there are some here that have been a fan far much longer than myself. I really wish you would express yourself in a more respectful manner. I personally didn't care much for many aspects of the movie. But I will never say it sucks. W...

Hope they don't bring back silly puns for names. In a endearing anime with a tragic story, silly puns for names are quite uncalled for. The series should not broadcasted as if it's just a souless action show. I've noticed there was a lot of inconsistency with the dialogues if compared with the origi...

Tetsuwan Atom is better with the series spirit intact and no cuts, hope new translation groups stop butchering the series and trying to hide it's japanese origins. Messing with the concept of characters, story and cutting down the emotion is quite uncalled for. Many people end up shy away from the s...

I don't like edited series, they get much of their essense cutted off.

Hope they re-release several animes with their original audio intact and with subs.

Good examples are Tetsuwan Atom series and Jetter Mars.

I am not sure about YuYu Hakusho, guess I'll check out.

There is an articleabout the history of anime which is pretty informative.

Otogi Manga Calendar was the first anime starting in 1961.

Strangelly the article don't mention Tetsuwan Atom from what I read.

Another interesting article lies here (this time about Tezuka).
