I usually -hate- colorization of black and white productions (such as the Shirley Temple films and It's a Wonderful Life) but this is done very well mostly likely because it's animation and doesn't need to the color spectrum that life action needs.

They probably do have ids. Gescheict (I know I spelled that wrong) had an ID in Pluto. We have serial numbers known as Social Security numbers so robots probably do as well.
