I took it down for a few hours to do a few CPU&harddrive intensive things (emulator testing and video processing stuff). It's back up now.
I dunno why CuteFTP asks you to overwrite sometimes, hope you can figure that out...

KVCD is just encoding options for VCD and SVCD video files. If the site mentions mpeg1 then it's a VCD, if it mentions mpeg2 or KSVCD/SKVCD then it would be an SVCD. The TMPEG templates in the red or green fields on that page would both work on most DVD players, so really you only need to get th...

If you're using a NTSC player/television to play them you'll want to encode the MPG to NTFS resolution or else you would see that squashed/grey image on any vCDs you make. I always just use Nero Burning Rom to import videos and let the program handle any reencoding/scaling that's necessa...

I've never ever heard of someone getting in trouble for downloading obscure anime or cartoons. Only big budget hollywood movies. Unless money is being made somewhere in the deal it doesn't seem to be much of a risk yet. Also, sad but true - Astroboy doesn't have enough fans to be importa...

You set flashget up wrong and the ftp thought it was an attack (connecting over and over too fast with an unknown username & password). You got banned. I just removed the ban so you should be able to get on it now.

They're 80's episodes, Merchant's the guy who encoded them. They're pretty decent quality, and all of them up to episode 30 are done and waiting for people to download them. You need them because otherwise you wouldn't have them to watch.

SoKn_Jedi: Cool, there's power in numbers.
Adam: Yeah, that'd be great. Do you know if the last 30 [merchant] rips are going to be put on Bit Torrent

A video conatiner format known as Matroska might be able to do that (it was designed to be more versatile than AVI). Ogg's OGM format could do that too I think. I couldn't verify if either of those could do multiple video streams, but they can both do several subtitle files aswell as multipl...
