I did say in that other thread that the first two complete episodes with subs are on the Australian set. That description seems to be partly for the 1960's anime.

I rented the movie Steamboy, and it had a trailer for Metropolis before the main menu that blew me away. Then watched Metropolis, and desperately looked for more by the same creator which led me to Astro. Already knew the character, but only far away in the back of my mind. Now it suddenly seemed wa...

If you had seen the quality of the translation, and of the video, you might think differently... :P

^ However, the Japanese audio track simply syncs up to the edited 80s episodes, if I'm not mistaken. There aren't that many edits and they're still included as deleted scenes. Really you're just missing out on the complete episodes 1-2, which are included as extras on the Australian boxset instead.

Man, that sucks. Why is it so hard to watch Astro Boy in Japanese uncut? Get the US boxset. Viki's licenses for Tezuka stuff are indeed expired. The only reason they don't take 'em off the site is because of the nature of the site and having fan-made subtitles that would get wiped. At least this wa...

The full title of the 2003 series in Japan is Astro Boy: Tetsuwan Atom and this game is an adaptation of it.

Uh... I found this page on Manga-News.com that describes the synopsis of ABR a little more than what we know, and I was wondering if any of you have seen it before, too? It's sounding pretty confusing to me. According to what it says I'm getting the 80's vibe but apparently for some reason Astro do...

When I shared the following video link back in November, Fafner said that Cedric Biscay says that Astro Boy Reboot will come out in September 2017. Just to double-check, since you speak French as well, can you check this video between the 11:41 mark and the 13:52 mark and see if he does say that AB...

I'm surprised they even showed a poster with so many characters. Isn't this coming in 2017?

is it me, or is that Peter Sellers? especially with the mustache... That series was with ONLY Japanese actors. They might have been influenced by Peter Sellers in doing the appearance, but as this was made in the late 1950's I'm not so sure. Peter Sellers did his 'Inspector Clouseau' role starting ...
