Re: COVID-19

A lot of people will be due for a haircut after this ends! :D Ironically, I won a coupon to save 25$ on my next visit, but hairdressers all closed on what would have been their following business day.

Re: Does your family know that you use ABO?

Good question!

Yes because they know, to various degrees, of some contacts I've had with other members here, but some don't even know the topic of the forum and I never gave much details anyway.

Re: Windows Users Beware

I've read it affected older versions of Windows. If you have Windows 10, you should be safe as it is set up to download and install updates automatically. Strangely, my computer crashed a few times this weekend, something that hadn't occurred in years. When I vaguely heard of a virus going around, I...

Re: When was your first time using the Internet?

I typed my answer here, hit the "Preview" button, and that turned out to be the exact moment the old forum went down! So... my first time was at the end of August or beginning of September 1996. I had just bought my first ever computer and was super excited. I couldn't wait to get online, ...

Could be, though the Internet Archive did manage to grab a screen capture on February 21, 2003. Perhaps it was still available to some? Or perhaps the site went unavailable once in a while, or for a short time, but I happened to check during that time. It would made it the right precursor of this s...
