I think I just can't help it, I don't think I'll ever enjoy Mozart. I was trying to reserve judgment, thinking maybe I just hadn't found some Mozart pieces I would like better, but after listening to the pieces mentioned here and a few others, it's just not appealing to me at all. You aren't the on...

u teach? Ugh, yeah, high school biology. These last three weeks I really hate though. My work as a chess instructor will soon become rather 'iffy.' Very cool. I've coached chess before, but like others have said before me, I have all the rules down, its the skill I seem to be lacking in. No matter ...

I'm jealous, I wish my parents had introduced me to classical music when I was young. I'm still trying to expand my culture, I feel like I know so little. Of course, it's never too late, but I would have liked to discover all of this sooner. And don't even ask me to distinguish between a good or a ...

I'm more of a Bach fan myself, but even with him there are lots of 'impossible' pieces that have proven to be possible (sometimes with modern technology--IE multi-tracking). It is really strange to think of some of thi...

Lamp, aka Acetylene Lamp, aka Drake..... :d oh: He almost always has a guest appearence in any Tezuka manga you can think of. He's the one that sometimes has a candle over his head. Yes, it seems amazing to me that in Tezuka's cast of returning characters, he needed to include one for 'sympathetic ...

Typically Lamp... Hamegg is never really the BIG villian, and seems to almost always have a scene where he crumbles. Lamp on the other hand is evil to the end.

The thing I like about Hamegg is that he's always a minor villian, often exploited by someone else (you know who!!!)

Arrghhh! Metropolis is difficult for me. The manga is merely OK, and the film...ugh...just the idea of having the guy who animated akira do a tezuka film seems completely twisted to me. Not sure the film or manga have much of anything to do with each other. Weird! This and your other illustrations a...

Might shock people, but indeed, this was a secret weapon he had in the manga. :hyo: :hyo: :hyo:
