So heres an idea to think about, instead of starting at the start again, what about continuing either the 03 or 80's series. (of course we know such a thing would never happen because in order to create a sizeable fanbase for the series a production company would need to start again to draw new peo...

Astro Boy drawing
http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/3926/astrom.jpg Just a little sketch I did of Astro and some creepy cyborg guy who'll probably be a villain in my version of the series, but I'm not sure yet so I dunno what he is. But yeah I thought I'd share the sketch here because I don't consider it good enoug...

Well as I said he's a nice break from the darker villains like Tenma. Just a typical gangster causing problems, and since his MO is using giant robots, naturally Astro's the one to fight him. Or Mega Man if he got dimensionally misplaced. There's also some things I'd like to do with Atlas. I do pref...

Mm, caught me there. My apologies, I haven't watched the 60s or 80s series in a while and I just finished the 2003 series... come to think of it, I haven't seen much of the 80s series at all. Sorry, I guess I'm no Skunk expert ;) Ohhhh! You meant Skunk! I saw your name and I guess thought you'd mea...

I'm not sure if he should be the main villain or not. I see him as more self-centered than truly evil. He's not afraid to step on a few heads to get what he wants but he generally doesn't want anything of mass international importance... although a darker yet Skunk would certainly be an interesting...

Astro's not a teenager, he's (approximately) 10. Or his physical design and AI were set to be like a ten year old boy's. The age designation of 13 was because the movie had slightly aged Astro. Problem is, once Tenma repents... who's the villain? My thoughts would be to have someone like that guy wi...

I don't understand why the hip guns weren't in the 2003 series. I don't even think it was a dub cut either, I think they were genuinely not there. I'd like to make an Astro cartoon with the animation quality and style of the 2003 series for the most part, because it was stellar. The music would be b...

That'd be kind of a fun episode to do. Sort of like the episode with Nosyarg kcid a.k.a. Larry from Teen Titans. That was a funny one. Some irony here I just noticed is the guy who voiced Robin in Teen Titans also did voice work in Avatar: The Last Airbender, which was the replacement for Astro Boy ...

I also do agree the series could've used some lighter tones as well. I've often thought it's only problem is that it took itself a little TOO seriously at times. I mean, did we see a single Hyoutantsugi through that entire series? I know I didn't see one. If animes like Full Metal Alchemist and Ble...
