Story ideas wanted.

Over the past four years (I thought it was longer than that), I've posted quite a few fan fiction stories on this forum, or up on the fanfiction.net site. Quite a few of them were crossovers, or near crossover. These have included various movies, TV shows, and books such as Dr. Who, Men in Black, Futurerama, Ghostbusters, Eureka, Duck Tales, Powerpuff Girls Z, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Supercar, Smallville (Superboy), Fireball XL5, Batman, Harry Potter, and Arrietty.

I've also done a few Starwars satires (by substituting Tezuka characters for the movie ones). I did the same for Heavy Metal, and Ghost (with a few plot twists). Then there were a few stories that had plot ideas and characters from various sources thrown in (Dr. Who has made quite a few cameo appearances in my stories). My "Frankensteam" story is quite the crossover mix, but most of them came from a single source, "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen".

Some of these stories were with Black Jack, not Astro (though I have to admit the good doctor has appeared in many of my Astro stories). I've also thrown some other Tezuka main characters into the mix, such as "the three eyed one", and Princess Knight (for Dragonrider 27).

OK, enough background. Any ideas of a book, TV show, or Movie that you think would be a good subject for a fan fiction crossover story with our favorite android? (Or ... perhaps with Black Jack?) I'm looking for some new inspiration here. Be my muse. Thanks.

A few years ago, I have played with the idea of Astro being some kind of robotic ghola, Doctor Tenma having rediscovered knowledge from an ancient "Tlelaxu civilization" and adapted it to robotics. I havent' seen Dune in your list, so it may be a start.

I've used a bit of Dune in one of my stories ("Who mourns for Methuselah"). Maybe I should revisit the theme, it's been a while since I've read the Dune novels.
