As for the space shuttle one, I'll have to take a little more time for that one, but it'll be up some time soon.

I'm back... And I drew something...
It's nothing fancy, just a simple portrait of the surgeon god Black Jack.
Nobody here's been excessively interested in seeing more of my works, so I haven't posted them. But I figured it might be fun to show you this...

Title: Black Jack (Portrait)
Medium: Graphite on Printer Paper
Time: N/A

I wanted to draw a simple portrait to capture Black Jack's beautiful face. My works almost always show his dark and cold persona, so I wanted to try something a little different... A gentle smile.

What is it that is seen in the smile of the dark renegade surgeon?
Is it a true smile or just a facade?
Does it hide some other feeling? Sadness, anger? Sarcasm, arrogance? Even something evil or malicious?
Or could it be that he has truly opened his heart and felt something new, something joyful?

Perhaps...

I remember it taking more than a couple of hours but...
I'm unclear as to the exact time. Even after I scanned it, the file was corrupted and I had to find it again and scan it again.

Yeah I know, I've still got a ways to go before I reach a professional level. But I'm working hard to achieve that goal. Thanks, Jeff.
