When there is a lull in the submissions of images, say 4-5 days without any new ones, you may name the winner & runner-up. Actually you could name the winner & runner-up anytime, but it is common practice to wait. You, however, do not post a new caption until next time you win. If you want, you may post images for your own caption, but it would not be fair to name yourself as the winner. Hah, I wonder how long the game would last, if we did that!
