"Code red, Room 213, paging Dr. Greenthumb!" an urgent voice thundered over the P.A.
Dr. Novi raced into room 213. The attending nurses, Miss. Abia and Miss. Abee'Othree, looked at Dr. Novi with utter curiousity. "You don't look like Dr. Greenthumb," Nurse Abia said.

"Dr. Greenthumb is working out a deal with the oncologist. He can't make it right now." came Dr. Novi's gruff reply. She removed the stethoscope from around her neck and proceeded to whip the patient with it. Satisfied with the outcome, she then raised her arms and cleared her throat.

"We are gathered here today, to mourn the loss of a beloved member of the forum... Señor Writing-Game.
Señor W-G was a fine thread, a fun thread but unfortunat-"

"For the love of god, Dr Novi, Señor W-G isn't dead yet!" A panicked Dr. Glab exclaimed, trying in vain to charge the defibrillator paddles..."gimme ten million joules, stat!" Immediately, Nurse Abee'Othree turned the crank and set the charge.

"Oh, the Señor is as dead as the armadillo in my sock drawer." Dr. Novi rasped, walking over to the heart rate monitor. She put her nose against the screen.

"Yup. The line is straight. They call that 'flatlined' incase you missed that in med school.....
Nope, even I can't draw a line that straight."

Dr. Glab took hold of the metal tray full of scalpels. She dumped out the contents and hit Dr. Novi in the face with it. Dr. Novi dropped like a ton of bricks.

Dr. Glab let out a sigh of relief. "Nurse Abia?" she said.

"Yes?" replied Miss. Abia.

"Fetch me a real doctor. Get Dr. Bwackie in here now!
And also please get a referral from the psych ward. I hear there's a good head shrinker by the name of Dr. A-F... let's have Dr. Novi re-evaluated."
