I was patrolling the ministry from the skies when I heard someone crying for help. It was Zoran.

I called O'shay and said, "Doctor, I think Zoran is in trouble, I've got to help her."

I turned and flew as fast as I could to O'shay's house thinking

"I've gotta make this quick so I can resume patrolling the ministry."

I landed in front of the house and walked inside, hoping that Zoran was alright. The place was a mess, there were things scattered all over the place. I looked around and saw Epsilon and asked her

"Epsilon, what happened here, where's Zoran?"

-Epsilon-
Astro came flying into the house. Zoran ran towards her bro and hugged him, before cowering behind him. It was madness, and its not just the house. The was a huge, smashing noise from the kitchen and Epsilon ran to look. It was Nora throwing the china plates out of the drawer, and Epsilon merely had to duck.
"Where is it!?"Nora muttered. "O'Shay left an important thing for me, but now I can't find it"
"What was it?"
"Microchips for the new robot project"

That caught him by suprise.

Although Temna was not the brightest of people nor the happiest, he had never wanted to quit the ministry of science before - or so O'Shay thought. He wanted to ask, but he was pretty much sure Temna wouldn't tell, so instead he sat at his desk.

"Are you sure about this, Dr. Temna? You might not get this position back, you know"

"I should have never been given my position back in the first place," Tenma responded with a short sigh, remembering the days when he encouraged Astro Boy to grow stronger, the days of his insane rampages, and the day when he almost tried to destroy the Ministry and commit suicide.

"I've never been fit for the Ministry since, and I'm still not."

"Yes... Yes, I do want to quit. Working here is just far too much now." He said.

-O'Shay-
Strangely, despite the fact that the two doctors were never on good terms, O'Shay felt a tinge of sorrow for Dr. Tenma. He has been his colleague for months, if not years, and O'Shay has gotten used to their quarrels and arguments. Maybe its because of the words Tenma used, but O'Shay found it really touching. But he was the sort of people that often couldn't resist their emotions, such as when Zoran left a slice of cake for him he wept tears of joy for almost ten minutes.
"If you are really sure for what your doing, sign *sniff* here, please" O'Shay handed a piece of paper to Tenma.

Tenma nodded solemnly as he was handed the piece of paper. "Thank you." He said to him, before taking out a small pen from the inside of his lab coat, and had carefully signed his name on it before handing it back to Dr. O'Shay.

As of now, Dr. Tenma had officially resigned from the Ministry. And although he would miss being around certain people, he certainly did not regret leaving.

"I'll be taking my leave now." Tenma said as he took off his lab coat and folded it neatly. He was about to leave the office with the intention of returning the coat for starters, but stopped suddenly and looked back at Dr. O'Shay.

"I'm also sorry that you'll be retiring." He said.

"Have you picked the next Head yet?" Tenma also asked.

-O'Shay-
O'Shay sighed. "Nope, haven't thought about it" he muttered. The fact was, he didn't want to retire, but his age and health were failing him. He looked forward to a life with Astro and Zoran, however.
"Thank you, Dr. Temna" he said. "You have now officially resigned your post. Have a nice day"

Tenma nodded.

"I hope you have a good one too." And with that said, he left the office as he made his rounds to return the Ministry's things, and to pack up his own possessions.

He's been expelled from the Ministry before, he can handle living without it just as easily again. He just wished that he won't encounter certain people along the way, he really did not need to talk to them at the moment.

...Although, perhaps Inspector Tawashi could also relate to him.

/why did Tenma quit?/

(Too much stress over the past several years.

That and, I kinda would just like Tenma to be more independent in these rps.)

And so, his long-time colleague had gone. He suddenly realised he will miss him, despite their quarrels and fights. He sighed and looked at his watch. 1:00 PM. There wasn't really left to do, and he wondered how Zoran and the others are getting along with the incident, so he decided to return home. He called his automatic zip car to pick him up in 30 minutes. He decided he will wait out the 30 minutes by re-joining the meeting with Zenya.
