The area of Tokyo known as Tatkadanobaba, is where Tezuka located the Ministry of Science. That's why when trains pull into the Takadanobaba station on the Yamanote line railroad station, you hear the Astro Boy theme music playing. The name Takada-no-Baba means “Horse Grounds of Takada Domain.” Another interesting quick, since Dr. Uma Tenma was the director of the ministry before he was replaced by Professor Ochanomizu. "Tenma" translates to Pegasus, and Uma means "Horse" in Japanese. (Literally Dr. Horse Horse!) The ministry sits on the Horse Grounds! And we find out in the Manga episode "Captain Astro" that Tenma's ancestors were Horse Radish farmers. I wonder if Tezuka liked horses as much as he liked insects?
