I hope you're not serious, because I wasn't. The rule is there to prevent aesthetically and bandwidth problematic sigs. I'm pretty sure I'm not out of line as a moderatator in excepting an extra 68 pixels width on a pre-existing, slim, non-animated, colour-coordinated, innofensive, original, 12k sig belonging to a mature senior member.
If I'm wrong, I know the other mods will call me on this.
