I uploaded 4 episodes using copy and paste from Windows Explorer to Internet Explorer. Oh and I forgot to mention that first one(ATOM 1) is in English with Japanese subs.
I guess I was right, I did lose an episode. I didn't upload the 2,3 and 4th ones because you already have those ones subbed.

Matte:
I put them in the /raw/ subdirectory of the new episodes directory, you might need to reload that directory in your FTP browser for it to show up.
yxuz:
Sure, would that be to move the Japanese subbed episodes into?

yes, but I still dont understand why you keep on naming them as Japanese "subbed" whereas the subtitles are actually Honk Kong Chinese
they should be Japanese "dubbed", shouldnt they?
oh yes and a new folder for the French episodes too

Those characters all look the same to me. I wouldn't know what language they were either.
They are Japanese and they are subbed so it's not too far off =p. I think I'd call them Japanese (Chinese sub). But that doesn't really matter to me. I can't understand either language.

Oh, is it really Cantonese? I knew the first audio channel was Cantonese (I cut it out while encoding because I preffer the Japanese voices) but I only know a little Kanji. When I saw a couple of characters I recognised I just assumed it was Japanese (of course Japanese Kanji was based on Chinese "han zi" so that's not too surprising...).
Anyway, I sorted them all out.

Yes, there is a guide - the quality.txt file in the 80's episode directory lists the language and any other signifigant info about each file (gamma, FPS, color, etc) . Today I also moved all the Japanese and French episodes into their own subdirectories, so you can tell what language they are that way.
I have all the 80's episodes, tho they are only the VCD set (Japanese dub with Cantonese subs). I only encode episodes that are requested, so if you want more just let me know.
All the English and French episodes are encoded by other people. I got a bunch off Kazaa and Bearshare, and the rest were uploaded to the FTP. Unfortunately, I don't know any of their origins.
The episodes with {}s in their filename are numbered by VHS tape # (3 episodes per tape). As a rule I don't rename files I didn't create.

They must be from the old volumes because I have the first three volumes of the 80s Astroboy from Manga Entertainment. They contain 5 episodes each.
I haven't searched for Astroboy in awhile, I think I'll see what's new out there.
