I know Anapan has a lot if 80's ep's available but does anyone know whether the series is available for downloading anywhere else?? I was only after some of the ep's that aren't on his site
I was after Uran the Tomboy & the ep where Livian is remodelled. Do you have them Anapan?? Also I finished downloading Uran's Quest & the last 20 seconds of the track goes really strange..... the screen fills with coloured squares & the soundtrack continues & when the pic comes back its the animation that should have been playing to the soundtrack /l\ but without sound..can i fix or is it a prob with the file??

I would think it is a problem with the file.

Try playing it with a different player.

DivX seems to work files that Windows Media player cannot handle. B)

More than likely, it results from an error during the encoding process.

You could try emule. I think I found some links to english 80's episodes I don't have using that protocol (I pasted a link to a webpage with ed2k links with them in a thread a long time ago). I still haven't gotten around to installing emule so I can't verify if the links would still work.
I have Tomboy Uran in Japanese, I think Livian just shows up remodeled in one of the Atlas episodes (you don't get to see her being worked on). I don't know if I have that episode on my FTP or not...
About the damaged section of Uran's Quest, I never noticed the problem when I watched the last bit of it, so it may have been an error that happened during download...

I am certain that you are correct, Anapan, for I have viewed the entire dubbed series at least twice, and the 26 episodes of the sub no fewer times than that.

I myself tried eMule, but switched to eDonkey, and will switch to Overnet as soon as I finish this semester.

Using eDonkey, I find over 70 results with astroboy and a similar number with astro boy as the search parameter. With a few gaps, there are episodes 1 -36 of the earlier cartoons, some being from the 60s, but most from the 80s. In these, the episode titles are included in the file names, so it is easy to see what you are getting.

  I strongly advise that you use a firewall if you install this peer to peer software.  I had been using both Zone Alarm and Bullguard, but find that the latter is sufficient protection. Besides that, it is the only firewall I know about that is designed to protect your peer to peer transactions.

  Peer to peer requires that your pc act as a server, thus other people will use it as a source for downloading their own copies of whatever you are downloading and whatever you indicate is to be shared.

  If you are using dail-up, rest assured you will not get worthwhile results from peer to peer networking. Because even if your own software eDonkey or what ever, is unable to locate the next part of the file you seek, it will still use your precious 56k bandwidth to share your files with others. Thus, you will see the status bar indicating "Download: 0.0 Upload: 2.0" or whatever speed. However, to be fair, I must say that you are required to make your upload speed only a quarter of your download speed. But then again, 56kb/s is only 7 kB/s, and at that rate it would take very long indeed. Moreover, you would not want to make your entire bandwidth available for eDonkey, because then, you might not be able to do anything else on the web while the program is running.
