I'd appreciate it if you uploaded those Blue Blink clips, I've never seen the show before.
I'm slightly dissapointed by the new series aswell, but it's still nice to see Astro attracting attention again. A larger fanbase can only mean good things for the series.

Ill just finish my download first, it takes an eternity to download if you are using dial up connections. Maybe tommorrow the clips will be uploaded. OK

Hey all,
Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate it.
I found an old Tezuka video a couple of days ago at a thrift store, and I just finished capturing and encoding it.
The file's located here on the FTP:
/video_eps/other_tezuka/The Fantastic Adventures of Unico.avi
The movie's not produced by Osamu Tezuka, only based on his manga but I think it's still worth seeing at least once (if you can stand some sappy love-talk with bad voice acting...).

Iam just curious. What kind of connection do you have at home. Is that server of yours 24/7? What is the computer specs?

I'm on ADSL (150KB/s incoming, around 1/2 of that outgoing). I try to keep it on 24/7, but I need to reset every 3 days or so usually.
It's a pentium 4 2.0a Ghz with 2 60 gig harddrives.

ARE YOU TELLING ME UNICO WAS TEZUKA? OMG! I NEVER KNEW THIS! I USED TO WATCH UNICO! :wacko:
Also, how do you create an FTp: index page like that?

Heh, I had no idea either. I was just waiting to pay for some old computer parts and noticed that Unico had almost the same eyes as Astro. One of my earliest memories is watching what I think might have been the second Unico movie -which I'm on a mission to find now. For like 11 years I've been trying to figure out what obscure 80s anime I have a foggy half-remembered clip of in my head. Something about a witch that was turning people into stone and using them to build a giant wall...
Anyway;
To get a file listing like my FTP, all you have to do is run an FTP server program on your computer, or upload files to some webspace (most ISPs provide 5-20 megs) without uploading a file named "index.htm".
I'm running Bulletproof FTP server
http://www.bpftpserver.com/ but there are alot of other programs that will do the same thing.

I found out that you had the premium cd-ripped Japanese theme mp3 of Astroboy '80 (figured that out because of the file size) but looks like she's lonely out there because she hasn't got his 2 partners. REJOICE cause I uploaded them for you, the 2 ending themes, Mirai ni Mukatte and Uran no Theme, (these are very rare mp3's).
You may 100% probably know that Uran no Theme is one of the ending themes cause you said that you had all the Japanese episodes.
